The Sookie Stackhouse books never seem to have a central storyline. There are usually a number of incidents that all wrap themselves up individually but no real driving force behind all the action. This book is no different. We did not see any real growth in any of the character nor any progression of the storyline or relationships between the characters. Yet again, I feel like I was reading a collection of short stories that were loosely tied together in order to create another novel in the series.
